District Advisory Council

The District Advisory Council is a product of the Moody ISD District of Innovation plan initially approved by TEA in 2017 and revised in 2022.  It combines into one committee the functions of the District Advisory Committee and the School Health Advisory Council.  This allows our District to conduct business in a more efficient manner and to reduce the number of required committee meetings.  The function of the Council is to review and make recommendations on school improvements and student health.  The Council is composed of parents, business leaders, teachers, administrators, and community members.   If you would like to become a member of the District Advisory Committee, please contact Sarah Troyer, Director of Student Services.
Congratulations to the Moody Lady Bearcat Volleyball team, who will be competing for the AREA CHAMPIONSHIP on November 3, at 5pm.  In an effort to allow fans to attend the game, the DAC Meeting scheduled for November 3 has been rescheduled for November 17.  GO BEARCATS!!!
